Fjord Safari, Aurora photography and hunt

In the morning we will embark on a fjord safari where you will learn about the history of Alta from early settlement until today while admiring the breathtaking sceneries of the fjords. We will get to know the local wildlife and get a chance to see sea eagles, seals, birds and more. From Alta we head north east to a port called Honningsvåg. Honningsvåg is the northernmost city of Norway and mainland Europe, a long-way-north of the Arctic Circle; we will be in prime territory of the Auroras. Along the way to Honningsvåg we will take any and all opportunities to view, admire and photograph the Auroras. Upon arrival at Honningsvåg we will check in to ‘The View’ hotel. Aptly named, The View hotel offers wonderful vistas to the mouth of the Porsanger Fjord.
In Honningsvåg, before our second aurora hunting trip, you will learn the secrets of photographing the Northern Lights during our Aurora Photography Workshop.
After a delicious local meal we will head to the night again to hunt the Aurora.
