After the invigorating hike it’s time to unwind and pamper yourself in a cozy tent sauna. Let the gentle heat of the sauna relax your body and soothe your senses. Embrace the calming ambiance as you feel the tension melt away.
After the sauna, we gather around an open fire for a delicious dinner prepared over the crackling flames. Savor the flavors of traditional Lapland cuisine made with local ingredients. The flickering firelight and the peacefulness of the surroundings create a truly memorable dining experience.
You will have an ample opportunity to connect with Lapland’s nature during the hike, tent sauna and open fire dinner. Embrace the simple pleasures of life in this enchanting arctic paradise and return home with everlasting memories.

Schedule and directions:
We start at 10:00 from Eräsoppi / Xwander shop (address Ivalontie 12). Please be at the shop latest at 9:45, so we have time for necessary preparations.
The total duration of the trip is around 5h. We return back to Ivalo around 15.
We have a complimentary pick up service for Ivalo. For Inari, Nellim, Saariselkä and Kiilopää areas Please contact us ahead to book a transfer.
Please note
- This activity is run every Thursday in November-April
- The trip is executed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Remember to pack a swimming suit and a towel. Please remember also to mention any dietary requirements and / or allergies when booking.

What do I need to bring?
- A Swimsuit
- Warm Clothes: Dress in weather appropriate layers including a good hat, scarf, and socks
- Snacks and Water: While snacks are provided, you may want to bring your favorites
What is the cancellation policy?
- Cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled 7 days or less before the event.
- Cancellation fee of 50% is charged if cancelled 30 days or less before the event.
- Cancellation fee of 30% is charged if cancelled 45 days or less before the event.
Please note
- Physical Requirements: The tour involves being outdoors in cold weather, so participants should be prepared for low temperatures. There is a warm tent and an indoor toilet in the camp
- Accessibility: The experience is not fully accessible by wheelchair due to the nature of the terrain and activities. But we are able to offer accessible tour utilising our partner companies minivans with wheelchair support. Contact us for accessible options of this tour!
- Clothing and Gear: Warm clothing and suitable winter gear are essential. Overalls, warm boots, and gloves are provided if needed, but it's advisable to dress in layers
- A temperature limit of -25°C: If the forecast for the day is colder / weather conditions unsuitable, we will cancel and/or reschedule the trip. There is no additional fee in case the trip is cancelled by Xwander
