Enhance your adventure with an optional open-fire dinner. If you choose this option, your Aurora trip will be divided into two parts, with a delicious traditional meal enjoyed by the fire in a Lappish tipi in between.
For an added touch of Finnish tradition, you can also opt for a tent sauna, complete with the exciting option of ice swimming.
Mitä odottaa
- Fyysiset vaatimukset: Kierros tapahtuu ulkona kylmässä säässä, joten osallistujien tulee olla valmistautuneita alhaisiin lämpötiloihin.
- Esteettömyys: Kokemus ei ole täysin esteetön pyörätuolin käyttäjille maaston ja aktiviteettien luonteen vuoksi. Ota yhteyttä, jos tarvitset esteettömiä vaihtoehtoja tälle kierrokselle!
- Ikärajoitukset: Kierros ei välttämättä sovi hyvin nuorille lapsille. Perheille ja lapsille suosittelemme Aurora Camp -tuotettamme, joka on perheystävällinen ja sisältää aktiviteetteja, kuten tähtien katselua kaukoputkella ja pulkkailua leirissä.
- Sääriippuvuus: Revontulet ovat luonnonilmiö, eikä niiden näkemistä voida taata. Kierros on erittäin sääriippuvainen, erityisesti pilvisyyden osalta.
- Vaatetus ja varusteet: Lämmin vaatetus ja sopivat talvivarusteet ovat välttämättömiä. Tarjoamme tarvittaessa haalarit, lämpimät saappaat ja lapaset, mutta on suositeltavaa pukeutua kerroksittain. Voimme neuvoa vaatetuksessa, joten kysy rohkeasti. Myymme myös merinovillakerroksia, pipoja ja muita tarvikkeita.
- Lämpötilaraja -25°C: Jos päivän ennuste on kylmempi tai sääolosuhteet ovat sopimattomat, perumme ja/tai siirrämme matkan. Xwander ei veloita lisämaksuja, jos matka perutaan heidän toimestaan.
- Soitamme sinulle aktiviteettipäivänä kello 15:00 saadaksesi sääpäivityksen. Xwander tarjoaa ilmaisen uudelleenvarauksen ja mahdollisuuden vaihtaa toiseen aktiviteettiin, jos olosuhteet eivät ole optimaaliset revontulien katseluun.

Tapaamme Xwanderin päämajassa kello 18:00 ja varustamme sinut revontulien metsästysseikkailua varten.
Revontulien metsästys
Lähdemme jännittävälle revontulien metsästysretkelle tarkkailtuamme pilvi- ja revontuliennusteita löytääksemme parhaat paikat revontulien näkemiseen.
Tarjoamme lämpimiä juomia ja välipaloja, jotta kaikilla on mukavaa metsästyksen aikana. Saat tietoa paikallisesta alueesta, kulttuurista ja luonnosta.
Voit myös yhdistää Aurora Camp -kokemuksesi illalliseen avotulella tai rentouttavaan telttasaunaan ja avantouintiin.
Aktiviteetin kokonaiskesto on noin kolme tuntia ja palaamme Ivaloon kello 22:00-23:00 välillä.

Mikä on peruutusehto?

- Warm Clothes: Dress in weather appropriate layers including a good hat, scarf, and socks
- Camera: Phone and power bank if needed
- Headlamp: If you have one, bring it along (don't worry if not, we provide you with one)
- Snacks and Water: While snacks are provided, you may want to bring your favorites
Huomioithan
- Physical Requirements: The tour involves being outdoors in cold weather, so participants should be prepared for low temperatures
- Accessibility: The experience is not fully accessible by wheelchair due to the nature of the terrain and activities. Contact us for accessible options for this tour!
- Age Restrictions: The tour may not be suitable for very young children. For families and children we recommend our Aurora Camp product which is family friendly with activities like Stargazing with Telescope and Tobogganing in the camp.
- Weather Dependency: The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed. The tour is highly dependent on weather conditions, especially cloud coverage
- Clothing and Gear: Warm clothing and suitable winter gear are essential. Overalls, warm boots, and mittens are provided if needed, but it's advisable to dress in layers. We can advice with clothing so ask, as well we sell Merino Wool layer kits, beanies, and accessories
- A temperature limit of -25°C: If the forecast for the day is colder / weather conditions unsuitable, we will cancel and/or reschedule the trip. There is no additional fee in case the trip is cancelled by Xwander
- We will call you at 15:00 on the day of the activity for a weather update. Xwander offers free rescheduling and an option to switch to another activity if the conditions are not optimal for the Auroras
