Itinerary

Discover Inari: Reindeer farm, lappish open fire lunch & Siida Museum

We'll begin your Lapland holiday by visiting a reindeer farm in Inari, where you can learn about the traditional reindeer herding. You can also feed the animals if you like!

After our reindeer farm visit we'll enjoy a Lappish meal prepared over an open fire.

Next we'll visit the Sámi museum Siida. Chosen as the European Museum of the Year 2024, Siida gives us terrific insight into the Sámi culture and it's history.

Arctic Fishing & Open Fire Lunch

Learn the basics of traditional winter fishing and indulge in a delicious meal!

Our expert guides will teach you traditional ice fishing techniques. After reeling in our catch, we'll gather around in a traditional Lappish Kota for an open fire lunch.

You can also choose to combine your Arctic fishing with a relaxing tent sauna and ice swimming experience.

What do I need to bring?

  • Clothing & gear suitable for winter temperatures (We will provide overalls & boots)

What is the cancellation policy?

  • Bookings are not refundable, all sales are final.

Please note

  • Physical Requirements: Some of the tours involve being outdoors in cold weather, so participants should be prepared for low temperatures
  • Clothing and Gear: Warm clothing and suitable winter gear are essential. Overalls, warm boots and gloves are provided but it's also advisable to dress in layers
  • A temperature limit of -25°C: If the forecast for the day is colder / weather conditions unsuitable, we will cancel and/or reschedule said trip. There is no additional fee in case the trip is cancelled by
  • Animals or pets are allowed.
  • Public transportation is nearby.
