Your home base will be in Ivalo, a picturesque village bordering one of the most remote and least visited wilderness areas in Western Europe. The top-class apartments are located in the center of the village.

Arrival & Relaxation
Whether you arrive by bus or plane, we will meet and greet you in Ivalo. Settle into your apartment and unwind after your journey.
In the evening you have a chance to enjoy in-house Sauna to relax and get in to the Nordic mood!
Snowmobile Safari & Aurora Camp
Explore Arctic landscapes on a thrilling snowmobile adventure. Jump into our wooden sleigh, curl up under soft, warm blankets and enjoy a relaxing ride through the beautiful natural surroundings. We'll serve you hot drinks and light snacks along the way.
In the evening you'll experience the Aurora camp with an open fire dinner. All participants will enjoy warm drinks and an introduction to the nature of the Northern Lights upon arrival at the camp. Afterward, we will take a stroll on the lake and through the forest while discussing and observing the beautiful phenomenon in the sky.
Dog Sledding Adventure with Taimyr Dogs or Huskies
Mush your own team of Arctic dogs through the pristine wilderness, guided by experts.
Day in the Tundra
Embark on a guided winter trek across Inari's snowy landscapes with us!
We'll leave in the morning, enjoy a traditional Lappish lunch in a wilderness hut in between and end the day with a relaxing Finnish sauna.
Arctic Fishing & Open Fire Lunch
Learn the basics of traditional winter fishing and indulge in a delicious meal!
Our expert guides will teach you traditional ice fishing techniques. After reeling in our catch, we'll gather around in a traditional Lappish Kota for an open fire lunch.
You can also choose to combine your Arctic fishing with a relaxing tent sauna and ice swimming experience.
Backcountry Skiing / Electric Fatbiking & Arctic Tent Sauna with Ice Swimming
In the morning you can choose between backcountry skiing or an electric fatbike tour, exploring snowy trails and untouched wilderness.

What do I need to bring?

What is the cancellation policy?
- Bookings are not refundable, all sales are final.
Please note
- Physical Requirements: Some of the tours involve being outdoors in cold weather, so participants should be prepared for low temperatures
- Clothing and Gear: Warm clothing and suitable winter gear are essential. Overalls, warm boots, and gloves are provided but it's also advisable to dress in layers
- A temperature limit of -25°C: If the forecast for the day is colder / weather conditions unsuitable, we will cancel and/or reschedule said trip. There is no additional fee in case the trip is cancelled by Xwander
- Minimum age of the passengers is 8 years.
