What to Expect
Come experience the beauty of Lemmenjoki through stand-up paddleboarding or packrafting. We’ll start the trip by taking a boat ride to Kultamahima, near the first discovery site of Lemmenjoki gold. After exploring the discovery site, we’ll inflate the boards, pack our gear, and begin paddling down the river. We’ll camp at designated camp sites in our own tents. Around the campsites, you can take walks in the surrounding areas or fish in the pristine waters of Lemmenjoki.

We can have a hike to Joenkielinen mountine (around 6km total with fireplace between. 3-4 hours) where we have great views to one of the biggest wilderness forests in Europe. After the hike we have lunch, disemble the camp and head to last paddling section (around 5km) to Njurkulahti. On the way we stop to Jounin Kaapin field to learn about the life of Reindeer Emperor of the area.
