Join on an exciting SUP journey on the scenic Juutua River in Inari. This guided 5-hour adventure covers approximately 8 km and is designed for intermediate to advanced paddlers, offering a challenging and rewarding experience. The trip ends just before the beautiful Jäniskoski rapids.
Due to some sections like the Ritakoski rapids, participants will need to carry their boards via the river banks, adding a level of physical demand to the adventure. Our skilled guides will provide instruction and support throughout the trip, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident on the water.
Midway through the trip, we’ll take a break to enjoy a delicious lunch amidst the picturesque landscape, giving you a chance to relax. This Juutua River SUP experience will be a memorable adventure as you explore the wilderness of Inari.
The day begins with meeting, gearing up, and briefings at Xwander Nordic in Ivalo. Both SUP and Packraft Paddlers might join on this trip. Supplementary pickup is available from Saariselkä. For pickup options from surrounding areas, please call us.

Are you ready for an adventurous day out by the water? Would you like to connect with likeminded people whilst exploring a new sport?
Join us on our Guided Stand Up Paddling Trips in Ivalo-Inari-Saariselkä Region. The location of this trip will change weekly, depending on weather conditions and participants experience on SUP-boarding. Trip might take us either to some gently floating rivers or our beautiful wilderness lakes. We will communicate the location with each participant and provide transfer to & from these destinations from Ivalo.
